We all know that this coming 4th of July George W. Bush will wrap himself in the flag and shamelessly promote his vision of endless war - as he did in his commencement speech at West Point May 29, the day after the New York Times front page detailed the horrific Haditha massacre. It is almost inconceivable to think of participating in any Fourth of July event without raising impeachment.

The purpose of the July 4th Independence from George W. event is to take advantage of this annual celebration to reach out, on a personal one-to-one level, to the millions of people across the U.S. who have come to recognize that Bush needs to go, but who have not yet become an active part of the impeachment movement.
